Entering the Slovak Republic, visitors are required to present a valid passport, which must not expire within 2 months after expiration of the visa, if required. The above applies to everyone except citizens of the European Union and Switzerland whose are allowed to enter Slovakia just with valid national ID card. Information about visas for visitors from non-EU countries could be obtained at the Slovak Embassy accredited to the visitor's home country.
