After my studies I worked in several worldwide companies and by being responsible for sales and marketing I travelled a much especially across Western Europe. I spent so many nights in hotels that I started to hate them! At that time I was very much involved into online marketing which was in its beginning in Slovakia and suddenly realized that I want to launch my own business. At the same time together with my husband Michael we decided to invest some money into properties (oh, there was a “property boom” here at those years) and the idea was here!
We launched apartmentsbratislava.com in 2007 as one of the first in Bratislava having only 2 apartments. Today we belong to leaders on market by offering highest level apartments and in the area which we know very well as we live there.
I have a degree in Natural Science and would never think I could work anywhere else. But then I met my wife. She was always unhappy to work for somebody else and so after some long talks (that’s what husbands have to do from time to time ) we came to the idea to buy some flats in Bratislava Old Town and launch this business. We wanted to choose carefully all apartments and their locations so we have spent almost 2 years by setting them all. I was born in Old Town, my parents are living here too so I spent whole my life here. Now we also live here with my family. This is the best area to feel like real Bratislavian and a perfect starting point to explore Bratislava for tourists.
I am helping my son Michael and his wife Andrea with this business since the early beginning. I take care about all apartments so that everything is perfect, everything works and is nice and in good conditions. I visit some of the apartments on almost daily basis as the detail is what is important. We do not compromise on that and therefore our guests can feel really like at home.
We are a family run business renting self-catering apartments since 2007. We were a pioneer in Bratislava with this product. Comparing to plenty of others we directly manage all apartments, majority we own and this which allows us to be flexible and to provide unbeatable service. We know every apartment personaly and thus we do care of every detail. We also live with our familly in the same area where all our apartments are located too.
All apartments are in The Blue Church area which is one of the most attractive location to live in Bratislava. It is a very pleasant residential area with a walking distance to pedestrian zone as well as to Eurovea or to Bus Station too. It is also accessible by car with available and not expensive street parking which is our competitive advantage to apartments located in historic Old Town with no possibility or very expensive possibility of car parking.
