To get the bus to Bratislava city centre you have to buy your ticket from a machine and this requires having some change. The instructions are also quite difficult but ask a friendly native to help you. Basically you need an 60 minutes ticket which costs 0.70 €. You then wait for a bus No. 61 which departs approximately every 15 minutes. The journey into town going all the way to the main railway station takes about 30 minutes. From there you can walk or take a taxi or tram (No. 2, 3, 8, 13) to your place. It depends where exactly you are staying but it should not take longer than 5-15 min. Taxi should cost max 7 €. The other option when taking bus No. 61 is to get off on Trnavske Myto or another stop and follow the instruction shown in details of respective apartment.
Look for full schedule of bus #61.
It might be far easier to just get a taxi straight from the airport but they are quite expensive. A tip: ask friendly local to call you a taxi as then it should cost about 10 €. If you take airport taxi try to negotiate with driver in advance and to make it reasonable for both sides ask for 15 €. Otherwise they can charge up to 30-50 €.
Look for public transport network in Bratislava.
