Bratislava info - Airport transfer

To get the bus to the City Centre, you have to buy your ticket from a machine (you can't buy it on the bus) and this requires having some change. The instructions are also quite difficult but ask a friendly native to help you out.  Basically you need a 30 minute ticket which costs about 18 crowns (50cents).  You then wait for a bus No. 61 which departs approximately every 15 minutes.  The journey into town  going all the way to the main railway station,  took about 30 mins.  From here you can take a taxi to your place.  It should not take longer than 10 min and costs should be max 200 Skk (6 Eur). You can also get off on Trnavske Myto or another stop and follow the instruction shown in details of respective apartment.

It might be far easier to just get a taxi straight from the airport but they are quite expensive.  A tip: ask the taxi driver how much does it cost – they could make it for max 500 Skk (around 15 Eur).
